Courses & Workshops

Professional Kinesiology
Practitioner Course #1:

Foundations of Kinesiology:
Basic Kinesiology Practice (BKP)

This course teaches you the foundations of Kinesiology.

Known as Basic Kinesiology Principles (BKP), it

is delivered face-to-face; and each unit is taught over 2 full, 8hr days.

Slightly different to other colleges, we offer our workshops on Thursdays & Fridays to allow the student to take in and process their learning,  practice and have the opportunity to complete their workbooks over the weekend immediately following each unit.

We have found this results in more work completed in time, less stress, better learning, more confidence and more success in their own future clinic.

One unit is taught each month, over an 11-month period, and the qualification is completed in 12 months.

Each unit requires at least 15 hours of practice over the month following the unit to complete the practical assessment journals, and a small online knowledge assessment is part of each unit.

APKA offers tutoring hours, on a needs basis.

Teaching Methods &
Course Delivery

All of A.P.K.A. courses are taught following the principles of Super-Learning

which consists of verbal explanation of the information, followed by a visual demonstration, and then followed by physical practice of the technique by the participants during the workshop, to cement the new learning into the mind and body of the learner.

BKP 103

The Yin Muscles

This unit is an introduction to the theory of 5 Elements, and the laws governing the flow of energy, sound, color and emotions of each element.

You will learn how to monitor and balance all the Yin (female) meridians and their muscles, as well as how to find corrections, and challenging them to make sure they hold.

You will also begin to learn how to use food, colour and sound to correct Yin muscles and organs.

BKP 104

The Yang Muscles

In this unit you will learn the history and principles of kinesiology, and begin taking a professional Client Health Record; as well as the basic anatomy of the body organs.

You will learn how to monitor and balance all the Yang (masculine) meridians and their muscles, learning how to use food, colour and sound to correct Yang muscles and organs.

You will learn how to find corrections, how to apply them and how to challenge them to make sure they hold.

You will also learn more corrections: how to balance a person’s energy following the flow of meridians in the body according the rules of the “Chi or Meridian Wheel”.

A super-tool is learning how you can surrogate for a client or use surrogate muscles, to assist those whose muscles can't be monitored in the standard way; eg: baby or stroke victim.

BKP 106

Full PKP Database & Corrections

Having learned all physical and energetic structures of the body and how to work with them, you are now introduced to the full PKP Protocol for balancing others.

This includes learning the PKP menu, the finger modes to find what a person needs corrected, including how to access the problem at another age or time, or in a person's genetic history.

The PKP Protocol allows you to find the most important corrections needed from all your skills - including tools from other modalities you may already have studied – and how to show the client the difference in their body at the end of the session.

Kinesiology for Pain

A unit which challenges our perception of what we think pain is, and opens the mind to what the body identifies pain as. This unit contains life changing tools for both students, their loved ones and their clients alike.

Learn amazing techniques to reduce and eliminate pain altogether; through the use of energy flow, tapping, emotional release, corrections of muscles, corrections to the nervous system and brain.

Learn the effective use of movement to reduce and eliminate pain, including the laws of energy in motion such as figure 8 energy, spiral energy etc.

Balance the body and eliminate pain also through the use of food and nutrient supplements.

Balancing with Food

In this unit you will learn how to balance the person’s body, organs, hormones, muscles and mood using food and nutrient supplements. Topics include the pathways of food production, nutrients and their effects, ingredients of the chain of life, food combining and rotating for health.

You will learn how to identify foods that are helpful, neutral or toxic for your client; and learn ways to find the problems the body has with food that is has had to deal with, and is keeping ‘hidden’ from the client for it’s survival.

A very big and engaging topic with enormous ramifications for health and broad applications on a daily basis for students and their clients alike.

BKP 109

Advanced Muscle Balancing

This advanced unit will teach you about how, after long-term stress or trauma, the body compensates over time and keeps the original problem buried deep within itself.

Learn how you can identify these complex compensations by looking carefully to the way it holds itself, in the way it reacts to situations, in the way the body restricts it’s own movement and in the way it cannot, when challenged, sustain it’s own function past a certain point.

Learn how to find these compensations, and how to release them, balance them and put the person, and the body, back into a place of peace, balance and harmony once again.

A truly exciting unit which can help you help yourself and others shift out of unhelpful reactive patterns, both mentally and emotionally as well as physically, and regain control once again.
