This is sooooooo easy and soooooo good for you, it's ridiculous!
It's chia seeds (protein) with your favourite milk (almond, coconut, macadamia, goat, cow etc), and good quality cocoa powder. That's it! Nothing else! Tastes great and is not fattening. You can make it runny like Yogo or you can make it thick like a pudding. Great for breakfast, morning/afternoon tea or dessert. Great with coconut cream on top too, with a few sugar-free dark chocolate shavings.
Add cranberries for extra antioxidants and zingy flavour!
My recipe: 1 litre coconut milk, 12 tablespoons chia of your choice.....add cocoa, or cinamon, cardamom, goji, cranberries or whatever you desire. Maple syrup ads some sweetness which is low GI. Mix it well and let stand outside fridge for 30 mins, then stir it up really well again to get the chia mixed in well. After that - into the fridge. Usually keeps for 3-4 days.
Enjoy!
